What can I expect out of this qualification?

Graduates will have the capacity to acquire, analyse and interpret information pertaining to the physical, economic and environmental performance of land-based systems. They will have the ability to work independently, accept responsibility for personal development and achieve the academic standards and aptitude necessary for postgraduate study. They will have knowledge of scientific principles, industry structures, practices and current issues in agriculture, horticulture or the equine industry, and the role of new technologies. Graduates will be equipped with advanced skills and knowledge of husbandry and associated technologies; science and management and their environmental impact in a chosen subject; project and programme management, and field work skills. Graduates will have advanced skills in the area of their major.
