Entry requirements
BE(Hons) or equivalent with a GPA <5 in 120 points above Stage III, or, BE(Hons) or equivalent and 60 points in the PGCertEqEng, or PGCertEng with a GPA of <5, or a relevant bachelors degree with a GPA <4 in 120 points of the most advanced courses and 3 years of relevant professional experience, or a relevant Bachelors degree as approved by Senate and 60 points in the PGCertEqEng, or PGCertEng with a GPA of <5.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
MEqEng graduates will have a deep understanding of the New Zealand geological, seismological and design context for buildings and infrastructure subjected to strong earthquake ground shaking. They will have the capability to access the latest research and to apply the fundamentals and to undertake earthquake engineering research or complex open ended design.
