About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The micro-credential provides continuing professional development for those involved with coaching or mentoring in the workplace. It is relevant for leaders, coaches, those involved with formal or informal mentoring programmes, HR professionals, consultants, academics and coaches in private practice.
Participants will critique the differences between coaching and mentoring, analyse a range of frameworks for developmental conversations, evaluate and select frameworks and methods for different client scenarios, and use current research and practice to address professional issues that may arise in the role. Through critical reflection, they will be able to adapt the skills and knowledge gained to develop both the competence and confidence they need to provide coaching/mentoring in their workplace, or to clients in private practice.
