Entry requirements
There are no specified entry requirements for enrolment in this Micro-credential, hHowever, all candidates will be safety checked as per the Children's Act 2014 as part of their employment at Plunket or upon enrolment. Candidates will be required to prove full vaccination status for COVID-19 due to the practical component.
About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The aim of the micro-credential is to provide Plunket volunteers, Kaiāwhina/Health workers, Education in Schools [EIS] educators, and others, with entry-level knowledge and skills to communicate core recommendations endorsed by Plunket and the Ministry of Health in their organisation and/or community, as they support whānau to thrive in the first 1000 days of life.
