What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification is intended for learners of English as an additional language who wish to apply their English proficiency to community and/or employment contexts.
Graduates will have the language skills required to communicate with increasing independence and fluency in community and/or employment contexts.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
Entry to the New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Applied) (Level 3) programmes is open to domestic and international students who meet the following entry criteria: Students must be a minimum of 15 years of age. The programmes are designed to be suitable for both students in senior High School, and for adults 18 years and over. Students must possess the appropriate visa and evidence of medical and travel insurance (international students). The NSLS Offer of Place is conditional subject to the student taking a placement test and interview prior to the commencement of the course. NSLS reserves the right to place the student in courses that are appropriate, based on the results of these assessments.
