What can I expect out of this qualification?
The PgDip has been designed to enable students to critically reflect upon, extend and deepen the knowledge underpinning their professional practice. Students will engage in self-directed learning and advanced study; demonstrate intellectual independence, analytic rigour and problem-solving; demonstrate advance knowledge about professional practice and relevant communities.

Minimum requirements
There are two pathways to admission to candidature: An undergraduate degree in a socio-cultural field (Socio-cultural practice refers to fields or disciplines in which understanding the value of customs, beliefs, values and language is essential for professional practice) with a B average or better; or, Where the applicant does not meet the entry criteria above, the applicant may be provisionally admitted. Such provisionally accepted students will be expected to pass their first course in the programme in order to progress.
