What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification provides a comprehensive introduction to the psychology discipline, including psychology as a science, involving the application of research, analysis, synthesis and evaluation skills.
This qualification is intended for people who can benefit professionally or personally from a working knowledge of psychology and human behaviour.
Graduates will benefit industry sectors involving interactions with people, where employees need knowledge of human behaviour to function effectively in an organisational workplace and with clients.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
Academic Entry Requirements Applicants must have NCEA Level 3. Applicants who have attained the age of 20 years and do not hold the minimum entry requirements will be eligible to be enrolled where their previous educational, work or life experience indicates they have a reasonable likelihood of success. English Language Entry Requirements If English is the not the applicant's first language, applicants will need an IELTS Academic score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5, or equivalent.
