This qualification is designed for experienced people working in the Health and Wellbeing sector; people wanting to enter the sector; and professionals seeking development opportunities within a health and wellbeing setting.
The Health and Wellbeing community of New Zealand will benefit from having graduates with the skills and knowledge required across a range of vocations and disciplines, to support people to achieve their health and wellbeing aspirations.
Graduates of this qualification will work independently as practitioners in some sectors, or under the supervision of professional or qualified clinicians, in others.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
All potential learners will be made aware of the entry regulations and selection processes which will be published on our website and in the Learner Programme Handbook. All applicants must participate in an interview to ensure that they are enrolled in the appropriate programme. This programme will enrol both domestic and international learners if they meet the following entry requirements. Domestic Learners: Applicants must: * Be at least 18 years of age at the time of enrolment * Have evidence of recent police vetting and VCA checking no less than one month old at the time of enrolment, unless the learner is undertaking the study as part of their employment and the employer has their applicable police clearance. * Have completed NCEA Level 2 or equivalent, with additional consideration for applicants over 20 without formal qualifications, based on experience and interview assessments * Alternatively, a Level 4 or higher qualification on the NZQA framework may also meet entry standards. International Students: Applicants must: * Be at least 18 years of age at the time of enrolment * Have completed NCEA Level 2 (if residing in New Zealand) or equivalent * IELTS 5.5 (Academic) with no band less than 5.0 or equivalent level of English as specified by NZQA Rules. To ensure the authenticity of IELTS Certificates Crown uses https://ielts.ucles.org.uk/ielts-trf/ * Have evidence of recent police vetting and VCA checking no less than one month old at the time of enrolment, unless the learner is undertaking the study as part of their employment and the employer has their applicable police clearance. Discretionary entrance for domestic and international applicants If a potential applicant does not meet the entry requirements and believes they have what it takes to complete this programme, they can apply for discretionary entrance.
