About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the real estate industry with people who hold a broad operational and technical knowledge of the real estate industry.
Graduates of this qualification will have met the qualification requirements to be a licensed salesperson in New Zealand and, once licensed, will be able to operate under supervision to comply with the Real Estate Agents Act 2008 (as per Section 50).

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
To be admitted to this programme applicants must hold 40 credits at NCEA Level 1 (including 10 Literacy credits and 10 Numeracy credits); or a relevant qualification at NZQF Level 2; or equivalent. Special and Discretionary admission also available. International applicants are required to have an IELTS (general or academic) score of 5.5 with no individual band lower than 5 from one test taken in the preceding two years, or meet a relevant English Proficiency Outcome as outlined by NZQA Rules.
