What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide organisations within the general aviation sector, particularly Part 119 and Part 135 aviation organisations, with graduates who are designated as the Senior Person responsible for the control and direction of maintenance (the 'Maintenance Controller') and recognises the knowledge and skills in keeping with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulatory requirements for this role.
This qualification is intended for learners who are planning to pursue a career in the aviation industry specialising in the maintenance control function.
The aeronautical engineering sector of the aviation industry will benefit through employment of staff knowledgeable and capable of working effectively in the maintenance control function.
Graduates will be equipped with a comprehensive set of skills relating to the administration and management of maintenance control for an aviation engineering organisation.
