About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the fencing industry with people who have the knowledge and practical skills to repair, maintain, and construct rural electric and non-electric fences, or to construct and repair industrial fences.
This qualification is intended for people who are entering the fencing industry and wish to develop skills and knowledge for fencing.
The graduate will benefit by having a qualification that recognises progression through the industry; and skills and knowledge; to enable improved job performance.
Graduates will be capable of working under supervision.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
All applicants must be at least 16 years old at the time the programme commences; be able to read, write and communicate in English at a basic level; be physically able to complete the programme specific outcomes. International applicants, for whom English is not their first language, just have a IELTS General or Academic Score of 5 with no band score lower than 5 or, hold an accepted international equivalence.
