What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the land based primary industries with individuals who have attained the skills and knowledge to develop and manage sustainable practices to comply with a recognised production standard.
- Graduates will benefit by having a qualification that recognises progression through the primary industry and will be able to implement sustainable practices for the long-term benefit of communities and the environment.
- Graduates will be able to work in a self-managed capacity, and may have some responsibility for the performance of others.

Academic Achievement Applicants should demonstrate an ability to succeed in tertiary study, shown by the completion of any of the following qualifications or courses of study: - New Zealand Certificate or National Certificate in Horticulture/Agriculture Level 3 and/or equivalent qualification or experience in the industry. - Certificate in Land Based Sustainability Practices Level 3
