What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the agricultural industry with tradespeople who have the multi-disciplinary knowledge and skills required to independently plan and specify, install, perform diagnostics on, and maintain milk harvesting and/or water and effluent systems.
Graduates will work in accordance with New Zealand industry standards and the relevant legislation, including those relating to health and safety, and the environment.
Whilst largely engineering-based, this qualification crosses over multiple disciplines to meet the needs of this unique niche industry.
It will typically be achieved in a workplace environment as a New Zealand apprenticeship.
