This qualification is an introductory qualification for people intending to work in the baking industry.
Graduates will be able to work safely, with limited supervision in a plant or craft baking environment.

Minimum requirements
Academic Requirements Open Entry. Additional Requirements To meet Health & Safety requirements, applicants must be physically able to undertake the practical components of the programme in an industry emulated environment. For workplace delivery only: * Applicants must be in employment in a bakery for a minimum of 20 hours per week. * Applicants must enter into a three-way training agreement with their employer and Ara. * International students are not eligible for the workplace delivery option due to immigration requirements to attend 20 hours of class per week English Requirements * IELTS 5.0 Academic (no lower than 5.0 in any subtest). For acceptable alternatives refer to the English Proficiency Outcomes Chart
